Katerina Furlong is a graduate of Prague Economics University and has been living in London for four years. Since 1998 she has specialised in human resources, recruiting, and personnel consulting.
Katerina was a division manager at the global recruitment agency Robert Half International, where she worked from the opening of its offices in Prague and then Berlin. She has helped more than 300 people find employment with leading international companies.
In London she has focused on consulting for Czech and Slovak professionals, and for multinational companies seeking employees for their operations in Prague. Cultural differences in the methodology of selecting staff inspired her to found English CV - where she applies her expertise from both countries, and works closely with other experts in the field.
Anna Pomichal has over 20 year experience in coaching people from different cultural backgrounds in skills related to the job market, including preparation for job interviews and presenting themselves to prospective employers.
Anna worked as a journalist and radio-presenter in the BBC for 14 years. Part of her role was recruiting new staff; nurturing and developing new recruits, and providing coaching sessions in voice and presentation technique.
Currently, Anna works as Media and Communications Officer for the Slovak British Business Council, where she also actively engages in recruiting new interns, and coaches them in CV and personal profile writing, preparing for a job interview for high profile positions, and presentation skills. She is also an independent media advisor and consultant.
Vera Carter, a graduate of Charles University in Prague with a Degree in English and Czech. Since 1997 she has been working as a recruiter and personnel consultant.
In the Czech Republic she specialized in the recruitment of marketing professionals. She developed long - term relations with Prague’s major PR and advertising agencies and multinational companies looking for marketing specialists.
In London she focused on headhunting – direct search of candidates for Telco, IT and financial industries.Her clients were large multinational companies based in the UK and central Europe.
